The BFG holder supplied by CISDI on EPC basis for Shuicheng Steel (Shougang Group) started piston lifting on the morning of November 11, 2010. The piston was successfully lifted by 2.1m by 31 minutes of continuous blowing, reaching the floating level. The gas holder features constant gas pressure during the floating. The side boards, posts, piston and top of gas holder proved satisfactory. This milestone indicates the start of floating erection following the completion of gas holder steelwork erection.
