On January 19^th, 2017, the 1,880mm Skin-Pass Mill for high-strength steels supplied by CISDI on EP basis reached its designed capacity successfully, just one day after it started up, seeing significant improvements in product output and quality.

This Skin-Pass Mill, the only one to produce ultra-high-strength steels at Baosteel in Shanghai, will help Baosteel to break through the bottleneck of increasing the output of cold-rolled ultra-high-strength (up to 1,000MPa) steels to 350,000t/a, one of its blockbuster products.
